Gobo Projectors for Indoor and Outdoor Branding

A gobo projector, also sold as a logo projector, shines a high-output LED through a patterned disc and focuses the result onto a floor, wall or building. The projected logo can be changed by swapping the disc, so one projector serves many campaigns.

Choosing between models comes down to three things: how far the projector sits from the surface, how much light is already in the space, and whether it will be exposed to weather. Indoor units are compact and lower powered. Outdoor units need sealed housings rated against rain and dust.

Signovation manufactures four series covering indoor retail through to building facades, backed by Sign India and three decades of signage manufacturing since 1996. If you are unsure which suits your site, the gobo projector buying guide explains wattage, throw distance and IP ratings in detail.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a gobo projector and a logo projector?

Nothing in practice. Both shine an LED through a patterned disc (the gobo) and focus it onto a floor, wall or facade. "Logo projector" is simply the name buyers use when the pattern is a brand mark.

How do I choose between the ORBIT, NOVA, AURA and RIPPLEX series?

By location and distance. AURA is the indoor series, 40W and 60W, for lobbies, showrooms and restaurants. ORBIT (40W, 60W and 100W, IP67) covers shopfronts, entrances and outdoor floors. NOVA (150W and 200W, IP67) is for building facades, car parks and long throws. RIPPLEX (60W to 600W, IP67) projects a moving water effect rather than a fixed logo.

Can the projected logo be changed later?

Yes. The gobo is a small disc that slides out of the projector, so a new logo, a seasonal message or a safety symbol is a matter of swapping the disc rather than replacing the unit.
