Outdoor Gobo Projectors
Outdoor Gobo Projectors Built for Indian Conditions
Outdoor projection has to survive monsoon rain, dust and sustained heat. That makes the housing and its sealing as important as the brightness figure on the specification sheet.
Protection is described by an IP rating. IP66 housings are dust-tight and resist heavy water jets, which suits most outdoor commercial installations. IP68 adds a more thoroughly sealed enclosure for positions that are fully exposed with no cover overhead.
ORBIT is the IP68 outdoor series, available in 40W, 60W and 100W for shopfronts, entrances and outdoor floor branding. NOVA steps up to 150W and 200W with IP66 protection for building facades, car parks and long-distance projection.
Wattage should be matched to throw distance rather than chosen at maximum. Around 5 metres typically needs 60-65W in normal evening light; a brightly lit commercial entrance may need 100W or more for the same distance. The buying guide sets out the full table.
