What is an LED podium?
A speaker's lectern whose front face is an LED screen. Instead of a printed board, the podium shows the event's logo, sponsor, speaker name or a video, and the branding is changed for every event from your mobile.
Why P1.85 and not P4 like the outdoor screens?
Pixel pitch is the spacing of the LED dots. An audience sits close to a podium, so it needs a much finer pitch: at P1.85 the dots are 1.85 mm apart and the image stays sharp from about 2 metres — fine for conferences, weddings, hotels and stages.
What is a GOB panel?
GOB stands for glue-on-board: the LED surface is sealed under a protective layer, so the panel is protected against knocks and touch — important on a podium that people lean on and move between venues.
How do I set it up at a venue?
Plug it in and it auto-starts from the inbuilt controller. Then you change the branding from your mobile. It comes with a free flight case so it can be moved safely between venues.
Is the price all-inclusive?
₹1,55,000 covers the PODIUM in its steel body, the inbuilt controller and the flight case. Ask for a GST-inclusive quotation and delivery details for your city through the enquiry form.
Will the screen look good when people film it on a phone?
Filming quality depends on the refresh rate. For premium projects Sign India prefers high-refresh configurations (6000 Hz / 7680 Hz class) where the selected product supports them, because they reduce the scan lines and flicker that phones and cameras pick up. If your screen will be filmed for social media, events or broadcast, say so in the enquiry and we will specify a high-refresh configuration.
Where do you install, and where do you deliver?
Gujarat is our primary region — Surat, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Vapi, Bharuch and other cities: site study, supply, installation and after-sales are handled directly as per the project scope; in Surat, installation and transportation are free, while fabrication and the support structure are extra and quoted per site. Maharashtra — Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nashik — is a priority region where supply and installation are available depending on project size and location. For every other city in India, Rajasthan included, we manufacture in Surat, deliver the product to your site and coordinate installation with your local fabricator or electrician — ready-to-mount units like these are made for exactly that. Worldwide supply is possible for selected products; freight, duties and installation are quoted separately.
What warranty and after-sales service do you provide?
Our LED screens come with a one-year warranty from installation. During the warranty, Sign India keeps spare LED modules from the same production lot where practical, so a covered module replacement matches the rest of the screen in colour, and a failed power supply is replaced piece to piece. Physical or accidental damage, electrical surges, improper or missing earthing, water entering from a site leak, lightning, fire and third-party repairs are not covered. Support always starts with a fault diagnosis: module, power supply, data card, controller, cabling or electrical input.
What should I send to get a quotation?
Your city and exact location, clear site photos (a short video helps), the required screen size, where it will be fixed (wall, ACP façade, steel structure, terrace, pole, stage, indoor wall), the height of the screen bottom from the ground, the nearest and normal viewing distance, whether it faces sun and rain, what it will show, the daily operating hours, and your required go-live date. From that we recommend the pixel pitch, structure and installation method for your site.
